Description

A delicious and easy turkey taco bowl with all your favorite toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup black beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1/2 cup corn (canned or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • Fresh cilantro (optional garnish)
  • Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to package directions and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook ground turkey until browned.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning with a splash of water and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. While the turkey cooks, prepare all your toppings: chop lettuce, slice avocado, shred cheese, and gather salsa, sour cream, and other toppings.
  5. Assemble your bowl: layer rice at the bottom, then add ground turkey, black beans, corn, lettuce, avocado, salsa, shredded cheese, and sour cream.
  6. Garnish with cilantro and lime wedges, and serve immediately.
