Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (680g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 lb (450g) fresh green beans, trimmed
- 3 tbsp (42g) butter, divided
- 1 tbsp (15ml) olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup (60ml) chicken broth (or water)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and onion powder, making sure each piece is evenly coated.

- In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, the minced garlic, and the trimmed green beans. Sauté for 3–4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the green beans begin to brighten.
- Pour in the chicken broth (or water), then cover the skillet and allow the green beans to steam for 2 minutes.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss everything together to coat the chicken and green beans in the garlic butter sauce.
