Description

This delicious Chocolate Marshmallow Cake is rich and gooey, perfect for any sweet tooth!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in half the mini marshmallows and pecans.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Immediately sprinkle remaining marshmallows and chocolate chips on top; let them melt slightly before adding remaining pecans.
  8. Cool before slicing into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.

  • Allow the cake to cool completely before slicing for cleaner squares.
