Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tube (13 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 48 slices pepperoni
- 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 6-cup jumbo muffin tin.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle and cut into 6 long strips, approximately 2 inches wide.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce down the center of each strip.
- Place pepperoni slices along the top edge of the strip, overlapping them slightly so the top half of the pepperoni hangs over the edge of the dough.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and dried oregano over the bottom half of the dough strip.
- Fold the bottom half of the dough up over the cheese, covering the bottom half of the pepperoni slices.
- Carefully roll the strip from one end to the other to create the rose shape and place into the prepared muffin tin.
- Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until the dough is cooked through and the edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before removing from the tin.
Notes
- Serve warm for best taste.
- Feel free to customize with other toppings such as bell peppers or olives.
