Description

Delicious cream puffs filled with whipped cream.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine water and butter. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add flour and salt, stirring until the mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool completely.
  8. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  9. Once the pastries are cool, cut them in half and fill them with the whipped cream.

Notes

  • Ensure pastries are completely cooled before filling to prevent the whipped cream from melting.
