Description

Delicious honey garlic chicken skewers that are perfect for grilling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless (skinless) chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 8 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (or oven to 400°F/200°C).
  2. Thread chicken cubes onto soaked bamboo skewers, leaving space between each piece.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Whisk in honey, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and brown sugar; bring to a simmer.
  5. Dissolve cornstarch in water and stir into the sauce, cooking until thickened (about 2-3 minutes).
  6. Grill chicken skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning and basting with sauce.
  7. Remove from grill, let rest, and serve warm with extra honey garlic sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours before grilling.
  • Serve with vegetables or over rice for a complete meal.
