A delicious creamy lemon pasta dish with fresh herbs and parmesan.
Ingredients

- 8 ounces pasta of your choice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- to taste salt and pepper
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Stir in the chopped herbs and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra parmesan and herbs if desired.
Notes
- This dish is best served fresh but can be stored in the fridge for a day or two.
- Feel free to add grilled chicken or shrimp for added protein.
